OdySea Aquarium was developing a new Moon Jelly exhibit that showcased the jellyfish life cycle through three viewing windows featuring the adult Moon Jelly, polyp, and ephyra stages. The exhibit graphics needed to clearly explain each stage while integrating seamlessly with the physical exhibit layout. Because the display included live animals and specialized lighting, the design also required close coordination with multiple teams to ensure scientific accuracy, proper placement, and an engaging guest experience.
I collaborated with the Animal Care team to accurately translate scientific information and life cycle illustrations into accessible, educational graphics. Working alongside the Maintenance team, we planned the placement of the exhibit windows while I designed the surrounding graphics to integrate seamlessly with the exhibit structure. The final design included custom Sintra panels and vinyl graphics engineered to glow under black light, enhancing the exhibit's visual impact while clearly illustrating each stage of the Moon Jelly life cycle and providing an engaging educational experience.
